In previous articles, I discussed how our thought patterns directly affect our health and how to develop new thought patterns to help our bodies heal. In this series, I will address specific disorders and diseases and discuss some of the underlying metaphysical (non-physical) factors that may be contributing towards them, as well new thought patterns (affirmations) to use for reprogramming the subconscious mind.
Remember, our bodies respond directly to our inner thoughts, beliefs, and emotions, as well as to outer influences such as nutrition, how we treat our bodies, our environment, and other possible external factors.
A physical issue can be our body’s way of communicating to us that something in our inner world (our subconscious thought patterns or emotions) is not beneficial to us. Listening to our body’s messages can provide clues as to which thought patterns require reprogramming in order to help our bodies heal.
Let’s begin by discussing the possible underlying metaphysical causes of endometriosis. Whether you recognize any of these thought patterns, feelings, or beliefs in yourself, or not (they may be entirely subconscious at this point), you can use the suggested empowering affirmation to develop new thought patterns to assist your body to heal. Positive affirmations need to be used regularly in order to reprogram the subconscious mind. A good way to do this is to write them out and put them up around the house as a constant reminder. Another way is to set regular reminders on your cell phone. Consistency is key.
Endometriosis could indicate that you are allowing old limiting beliefs to prevent you from creating what you want in your life. You may feel disappointed, frustrated, depleted, unsupported, or ungrounded. You could be rejecting the feminine aspect of yourself. Or holding onto feelings of rejection from others, especially men. Devaluing and dishonoring yourself. Denying yourself love and appreciation. You may feel insecure, inadequate, and unacceptable. Replacing self-love with sugar. You may need to create new beliefs that support your need for self-nurturing. As you learn to be kind to yourself, you will feel free and easy about creating what you want in your life. Learning to love and nurture yourself is paramount.
Louise Hay’s affirmation/new thought pattern:
I am both powerful and desirable. It’s wonderful to be a woman. I love myself and I am fulfilled– Louise HayTweet
